Turning Japanese.

These are Tsuba Miniatures Russo-Japanese War figures, destined for a 1920s Back of Beyond setting. Painting the two officers in armour was great fun.

You have done an absolutely beautiful job on these figures - as per usual!

Superb. I did a Japanese army for BoB using the Copplestone Chinese with a bit of conversion work to give the officers swords. I could have saved a lot of effort by using the Tsuba figures, if they had been around at the time!

Thanks Michael. No wizardry. Base colour, wash, coloured dots!

I have even entertained the notion of getting some to do WW1 Japanese. Would have to hunt for a wider selection of guns.

The officers are indeed splendid. So much so that I almost overlooked the MG team, which is a real gem. Your painting and basing really does it justice. Superb.
