Even more for Minden! These fine mid 18th century fellows are sculpts by Paul Hicks mounted on horses from a variety of manufacturers. They were commissioned by my gaming chum, Steve. French heavy cavalry wearing breastplate beneath the coat, painted up to represent the Corps of Royal Carabiniers. Steve has previously commissioned Paul Hicks to sculpt Prussian Cuirassier and Austrian Dragoons for the same period, all in dynamic charging poses. Steve tells me that he plans to eventually release these French, Prussian and Austrian figures under the name "Bella Miniatures", named for his late wife. When? "Not soon," he says......
