Wilhelm Wassmuss foments trouble in the Persian Gulf.

Thanks to Steve Langan for images of a recently completed commission. Steve wanted an Imperial German expeditionary force based upon the exploits of Wilhelm Wassmuss "the German Lawrence", as he attempted to create trouble for the British Empire in Persia between 1916 and 1918.

The Lion of Africa.

Paul von Lettow Vorbeck. A great limited edition sculpt from Hamburg Tactica 2011. This was one of those wonderful figures that seemed to paint itself. I would like to know who sculpted this figure.

I am now informed by the Powers That Be that this figure is the work of sculptor Frank Germershaus.
