4th Transbaikal Cavalry Regiment of the Asian Cavalry Division 1921.

Continuing the RCW Ungern-Sternberg theme...the 4th Transbaikal Cavalry Regiment of the White Asian Cavalry Division. Figures are Copplestone Castings Mongol Cavalry with suitable headswaps from Russian White Infantry.

White Russians: Annenkov's "Blue Lancers".

Blue...yes....Lancers....no. Splendid Hicks sculpts from Empress Miniatures. Hoorah! With luck, these along with the other White Russians featured recently, should make their debut in the display game put on by my gaming chums of the League of Extraordinary Kriegspielers at Vapnartak, York, 6th February.

White Russians: A group of Annenkov's Rifle Brigade looters, an Orthadox priest and a sniper.

 All available from Empress Miniatures.

White Russians: Senior Officers and Artillery Spotters.

A knot of Senior White officers (from The RJW War range from Tsuba Miniatures stocked by Empress Miniatures) and a couple of Artillery spotters from the Composite Guard Artillery Brigade (two figures from Oz Club STP, again stocked by Empress Miniatures).

More White Russians

This time the Maxim team for the Rifle unit previously posted ( the third figure in the set will be repurposed as an artillery spotter) and a Schneider M1910 122mm Howitzer and crew painted up as gunners from the Composite Guard Artillery Brigade. Again, these figures come from Oz Club STP stocked in the UK by Empress Miniatures.

White Russian Rifle Unit.

These WW1 Russian figures are from Oz Club STP currently stocked by Empress Miniatures. Beautiful Paul Hicks sculpts painted up as a White Russian Rifle unit for service in the east. A pleasure to paint!

A Little Musical Interlude.

Tsuba Miniatures Russian Bandsmen. Painted up as the regimental band of the White Russian Kornilov Shock Battalion. All part of a cunning development for the League of Extraordinary Kriegspielers' recent gaming weekend. I also painted up another band in a different White Russian uniform but I neglected to photograph them before delivery. Fool.
