All based up for skirmish gaming. Twenty four figures comprise this standard Battalion pack from Front Rank, sixteen of which are in the same firing pose, hence only a few of these are pictured. I am rather proud of the drummers. The flags come from GMB Designs and the finials from North Star Military Figures.

Something completely new for me and the entire product of painting over the past five weeks.....such is the hobby when life throws monumental brickbats at the family. These are British Grenadiers from Front Rank Miniatures destined for service in North America between 1754 and 1763. At least I got to try out some new paints from AK Interactive over the last month or so and the freehand work was rather fun to do. I stop short at attempting to paint regimental lace because life is simply too short. The hatmen will follow but goodness knows when the entire unit of thirty figures will be complete given the demands of real life for the next few months.
All complete and ready to embark for service in Canada.
I am currently painting a number of Warlord Games 28mm French and Indian War French Infantry. These are the ex-Conquest Miniatures figures. Painted up as the 2nd Battalion of the Regiment de la Reine in the uniform issued prior to their departure to Canada. They would return to wearing their blue waistcoats some time later. Flags by GMB. I am currently working of the last eight figures of this unit. They are all in a firing pose. I am not a great fan of figures in such a pose so I don't think I shall photograph them. These are based individually as instructed by the owner.
