I have always wanted to own a Rolls Royce....

... and now I do. Here is the HLBS (ex-Copplestone) RR 1914 Admiralty model RR AC painted up for service with 12th Light Armoured Motor Battery in Palestine. A 28mm Tommy is alongside for size. As Toad would say "Poop! Poop!"

How blooming hot would driving around in that in the desert have been? Lovely work as always.

The RR ACs that worked with Lawrence had the lids of the turrets removed for extra ventilation. They also had four wheels on the front axle!

Very nice indeed! I recently did an Austin Armoured Car and am keen to ad to the collection.

Nice paint job, it looks like a nice size too.

Totally agree Mark, I have always fancied one (or more) of these WW1/interwar RR armoured cars - but as in real life, I have had to settle for a more cost effective alternative from Old Glory - one day perhaps!
