Nice work. Have you thought about researching the colour of the mortar rounds in the 2nd WW? It could give a bit of variety for HE, WP, Smoke, etc. As I recall they were a base colour for the type of round plus a band of red(?) if they had HE in them.
I used to know them 50 years ago but the mind has gone blank now :)
