You've really hit the mark on the German color palette, they're wonderfully done!

Great as always! Your fieldgrey is spot on. Btw it's called Feldmütze.

My word, sir! They are simply spiffing. Lovely figures painted to an amazing standard.

I must ask, how on earth do you get the uniform colour so perfect???

Look forward to seeing more!

Regards

Matt

Moiterei, spelling error corrected. Thanks. I should proof read before hitting the "post" button.

Matt, this M1910 grey is a base coat of Coat D'Arms Field Drab that has been highlighted up with VMC Light Grey. The last time I painted M1910 uniform (before these Mutton Chop releases)was back in 2008. I tried other grey tones as the base coat and they just didn't quite look right.,,, too dark. When I came to paint up Mutton Chop packs GER1 and GER2 as a commission I went rumaging through the paint racks and stumbled on the long forgotten pot of CDA Field Drab! "Bingo!" said I to self. So the answer to your question is simply "pure luck".
