Good Lord, Mark. They are simply wonderful. Absolutely superb. Almost single-handedly, you have me thinking about the Great War in the Middle East!

How do you paint the emu hackle?

Dogface77. Simply two shades of grey paint. Base coat the hackle with the darker and just outline the edges of the feathers with the lighter shade. No magic.
