The Elite Company. The original heads have been replaced with Perry plastic Elite Company Hussar heads. The plumes are from the original headgear. These are fuller than the plastic plumes and will be in keeping with the rest of the metal figures. A little greenstuff here and there to modify the uniform slightly.

Deja vu?
I painted up something similar to these back in October/November last year, but these Great War Miniatures chaps have been given the Woodbine headswap treatment to produce some Staff Johnnies on Imperial Service from anywhere from 1910 to about the mid-1930s. Currently gently moving on doing something similar with the GWM early war highlanders.... kilts and Wolseley Foreign Service helmets. Should be interesting.

Perry Miniatures: Chevau-légers lanciers de Berg 1.
Perry "Red Lancers" with a different paint scheme. I really do love painting Perry's figures but you often find that you have to hold your breath and clench your buttocks firmly when things get a bit fiddly. Nine more to come and an attempt to replace heads with Perry Hussar heads wearing colpacks for the Elite Company.
