Revisiting some old friends

A few weeks ago, a regular poster on the Steve Dean Forum posted some Great War Miniatures Late War German Infantry. I realised that it is quite some time since I painted one of these, so the roll was called and this Lance Corporal reported for duty from the depths of the lead mountain. A Great War Miniatures Early WW1 British Cavalry Trumpeter. I'd forgotten just what a pleasure they are to paint.

Very nice. Gotta love WWI. I am interest to know what green paint you used on the uniform?

Wonderful, lovely painting. And deeply inspiring. You've done the figure justice, and more. Can I please ask how you did the base....I love the vegetation. Again, wonderful.
