WW1 British Imperial Medical Aid Station 1.

Another "dressing the table" project along similar lines to the Ottoman Medical Aid Station. The end result will be larger than the last. All the figures have had head swaps completed, minor greenstuff work done and a couple of camels have had cacolets added. Below is a Sand Cart Ambulance made from the GWM General Service Wagon driver, draught horses, wheels and draw pole with a scratchbuilt cart body and canopy. The Sand Cart Ambulances employed in Palestine had a wider iron tyre fitted to the wheels. A simple card strip glued round the wheel creates this. Twenty odd figures to come, a tent, two camels, and a lot of clutter.

Here is a real one!

WW1 Ottoman Medical Aid Station. WW1 Camel Ambulance 2.

Something to dress the table. This was great fun! Converted Perry and Artizan camels, figures from Perry Sudan British range, Brigade Games, and Woodbine Designs. Plenty of headswaps too. Now to do something similar for the British Imperial forces!
