I have been playing around with the Perry Miniatures Sudan 19th Hussars figures to create something that looks like the 7th Dragoon Guards and 19th Hussars for the Anglo Egyptian War. First up, a 7th DG trooper and then a 19th Hussar in a plain blue frock. I think it works.

Ataturk!
Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. So sorry to state that this figure is not commercially available. It is a gorgeous sculpt from the talented hands of Aly Morrison and was such a pleasure to paint....it almost painted itself.

Empress Miniatures Light Car Patrol Model T Utility and crew.
Coming soon to Empress Miniatures... 1917 Model T Ford Utility of the Light Car Patrols with crew sculpted by Paul Hicks. Vehicle 1/56 scale, figures 28mm. Keep an eye on Empress Miniatures FB page for release date (not yet known) and future developments. A big thanks to Paul Eaglestone of Empress Miniatures and Paul Hicks for taking on this project that fulfils a plan made between my late friend Adrian Shepherd and myself just over a year ago. The vehicle masters were made by the excellent John Hart. Cheers lads!

A few more Tsuba Miniatures RJW Japanese Infantry.
I feel that there may be some of these to be painted up in the 1886 blue uniform before not too long. Watch this space. But for now...back to the Sudan!
