A Daimler Marienfelde truck in 1/56 scale from the desktop and 3D printer of John Hart. Painted up here to join my 1920s Freikorps force. This is a test print before the final version is signed off. There are some modifications to be made to thicken up some of the more slender uprights to avoid warping (you can see this on the windscreen) and John is also working on a detachable canvas tilt for the rear. Joy of joys!
Both the quality of the 3D print and the painting are simply outstanding!
ReplyDeleteYour fabulous paint job aside, this is a lovely print. I am slowly starting to embrace the process but to have someone that is able to design such high quality models is a wonderful treat.
ReplyDeleteA lovely model Mark…
ReplyDeleteIt looks a real beast of a vehicle…
All the best. Aly
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am really impressed by both the Daimler Marienfelde Truck and the Daimler-Krupp Plattformwagen.
Please allow me to ask you a few questions.
1. Do you know when those will get up in production... or being offered as stl files?
2. Is there any chance to get in contact with John Hart? Since I am interested in getting an accurate Freikorps A7V tank.
3. Have you planed to create more vehicles of the German Revolution period?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi there. John will NOT be selling STL files. He is can be found over on LAF as molecatcherjohn. He has a thread up and running about these beauties. He can be contacted there and he can answer your questions directly. He can also give you an indication as to his future plans: https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=146460.0
