Nobby, these figures are from Blaze Away, now bought by and available from Lancashire Games. Right hands hanging as this shows good horsemanship. Have a look at some images of mounted soldiers from the time, and indeed today, and if the right hand is empty it is kept don by the side of the trooper's body.
