Crew from Brigade Games and the guns are the GWM 77mm FK96 with a lengthened barrel to make them look like FK16s. The Brigade Games FK16 model that came with the crew just looked too small to my eyes.
Stephen, I don't think there is a 10.5cm Feldhaubitze out there in this scale. I have plans/drawings from the interweb scaled to 1/56(ish) and I'm just waiting for the impetus to have a go at scratch building something that looks like one.
There was an interesting article on German artillery performance at Mons in SAHR journal and it seems that only the howitzer shells could be relied upon to function correctly.
These are absolutely superb, bravo Mark.
ReplyDeleteMost impressive and superb guns!
ReplyDeleteCracking work. Any suggestions on where to find LeFH 98/09s Mark?

ReplyDeleteI'll keep my eyes open for it 😀
