Things have not been as bad at work as I feared. I've been able to dabble with the paint over the past couple of weeks and complete the other three figures from the Mutton Chop BEF Command Pack. Deep joy!
I've just noticed the varnish bloom around the Officer's holster and binocular case. Will rectify.
You're clearly not setting enough prep! Feeling a little swamped over here, but the end is, at least, in sight! Fabulous work again Mark, the attention to detail on these is particularly good, bravo Sir.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michael. All exams marked, all reports written and the parents' evenings done. Not long to go before the holiday and the summer project of GUNS!
ReplyDeleteWhat an enviable place to be, speech day on Sunday signals the sprint to the finish for us and then I have to make decision as what to do first - Witchfinder or Batman! Have a great break Mark.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say Mark? lovely layering and your usual crisp beautiful style.
ReplyDeleteHighly impressed as usual :>)
Darrell.
Quite simply the best WW1 painting I've ever seen.
ReplyDelete....hat tipped to you sir!
Happy Wanderer
Impressive painting as always!
ReplyDeleteUnique work, Mark.
ReplyDeleteEspecially the arm badges are wonderful pieces of art.
