9.2 inch Howitzer.

The Honourable Lead Boiler Suit Co.'s resin and metal British 9.2 inch static seige howitzer.

Seeing the Royal Artillery Memorial at Hyde Park Corner for the first time at the age of eight, was perhaps the moment when I first became interested in the Great War. This is an iconic piece of equipment. I am glad that it now sits in my display cabinet.

  2. Wow! That is one beast of a gun!!

    Great painting as usual mate.

BTW, I think I spotted some of your conversion and paintwork today in a certain game at Vapnartak today!

I'll be posting up pics on Just Add Water tomorrow. Too knackered now.

  3. Darrell, you are quite correct. As photos begin to trickle in via carrier pigeon, it seems that quite a lot of the WW1 figures I have painted for a couple of excellent chaps over the past four or five years were on display!

  4. Mark,

The conversion and painting was excellent. I did my best to get some close ups but there were a lot of mini's on the table, sometimes crowding your work. I will be posting the pics tonight as I've had a long and stressful day. It doesn't help that my new laptop won't download Photoshop so I'm having to use Picassa which I'm not familiar with and cannot find the Resize function anywhere. I usually post pics about 800 pixels wide which is more than enough for blogging. Some of these files are huge!

A pleasure to see your work 'in the flesh'.

    Hope they come out OK.

    Darrell.
