New Zealand Mounted Rifles 4

The first two mounted figures. Just wanted to do a couple over the holiday period so I could see what they would finally come out like. I'm pleased with the overall result. Think I got the highlight on the horses too close to the mid tone... not enough contrast... Eight more to do. Next post will be of the completed mounted unit.

    Very nice indeed Mark, I think you might be being a little over critical about the highlight on the horseflesh - looks pretty good to me.

    These are lovely - will be a great unit. Agree with Michael the horses look fine.
