Lovely paint job, and the basing is fantastic. I really like the way you sometimes place the figures in the centre of the base and use black to set them off.
The basing article was excellent, do use any particular brands of grit and Talus in your mixes?
Hi Oldschool. Thanks for the kind words. I've got fine basing grit from Gale Force 9 and fine grit from Antenociti's Workshop (www.antenocitisworkshop.com). The GF9 fine grit is a little chunkier than that from Antenociti's Workshop. The fine talus I use came from a local hobby store. I'm afraid I don't know who produces it. Antenociti's Worksop stock this too, I believe.
Thanks Mark. I have always used filler to build up the base before adding any texture, but the figure base is virtually invisible in your models and I prefer the way the grit lies flat on your bases. I must try it without the filler, it would save a lot of work.
