Hi Paul, I played around with this a bit before starting. The rank and file are painted here in the Foundry Moss triad... nothing special. I'd tried the Drab triad... they ended up looking like Tommies in Khaki Drill. In the past I've used a base coat of VMC Khaki Grey and highlighted up from that... this gives a darker tone to the uniform. I like this Moss triad scheme. Seems to do the job nicely. Very nice. Now that's how I pictured Turk uniform in my head. Can you let me know what base colour was used for the uniform.

ReplyDeleteNice work mark on the Turks. They are tricky devils to paint, however, you have captured the right look on the uniform.
