The uniform is not wrong. Just spend some time looking at photographs of British troops in Palestine and you will a HUGE variety of uniform being worn. Khaki serge and Khaki drill was worn and often mixed together. It gets cold at night in that part of the world and the winter were pretty rough in 1917. Tin helmets are also seen as well as Wolseley helmets. Mix up the standard Tommies from the section pack with their Tommies wearing shorts. The uniform is technically wrong, but seated and with a suitable paintjob I think he does quite nicely.Over Open Sightshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07598427337787574766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6879370018745856789.post-20377436030754041622017-01-15T19:48:14.685+00:002017-01-15T19:48:14.685+00:00Lovely looking please can you I'd the figure o...Lovely looking please can you I'd the figure or the sum of his parts
Many thanks
Frank Frankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13206801714510438876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6879370018745856789.post-45843768645295653162017-01-15T10:41:23.779+00:002017-01-15T10:41:23.779+00:00Mark, another "simple" but beautifully c...Mark, another "simple" but beautifully characterful piece.
